Bear Hugs
A short-lived, but lively, band from Grand Rapids, Bear Hugs did their fellow animals well. The wrote the book on anthropomorphic pop songs. All of their songs are about animals from an animal's perspective. Truly one of a kind. The "Acoustic Demos" tape is one of very few releases from a special band. Oh yeah, they also had a member of the Michigan pop punk band, North Lincoln. (back to top)

The awesomest brother/sister duo... ever? Rebecca writes the songs, Hoshwa adds onto them. It's only a matter of time until they have taken the entire world by storm. Comparing their musical styling and variety to Mirah would not be a huge stretch. They enlist an arsenal of ukuleles, harp, guitar, and various toy instruments.
