Bear HugsA short-lived, but lively, band from Grand Rapids, Bear Hugs did their fellow animals well. The wrote the book on anthropomorphic pop songs. All of their songs are about animals from an animal's perspective. Truly one of a kind. The "Acoustic Demos" tape is one of very few releases from a special band. Oh yeah, they also had a member of the Michigan pop punk band, North Lincoln. (back to top)
Blanket TruthPop inspired music made with multiple types of ukuleles, toy instruments, keyboards, and whatever else can be found by Jon Manning and friends. Living somewhere between Thousand Oaks, CA - Seattle, WA - Everywhere, USA, you never quite know where The Blanket Truth will show up. CDR's available, split tape with Watercolor Paintings in the distro! (back to top)
Clitorectomy and the MutilatorsNo, the Mutes aren't a grindcore band, they're a political, old timey, female-fronted, country-ish band! They refer to it as "riot country". Even better than you are expecting, really! They changed their band name when they moved out of California. Refer to them from here on out as the Bad Heart Bull Music Collective. It's not any more of a mouthful though. (back to top)
ijiZach Burba is a man of action, beginning to be as prolific as your favorite lo-fi allstars. If he hasn't released anything in a few months, that means he's probably just working on 3 albums at a time that will be released simultaneously. This dude will reinstall the feeling of the first time you heard a band that you really connected with. Songs so catchy you'll be singing to yourself for days, weeks, months and maybe years to come. Red Pony ClockSan Diego's finest! RPC is an ever revolving cast of musicians who create magical indie pop songs. Lots of horns, lots of good vibes, lots of smiles. What once began as a solo project has now ballooned out of control in the best way possible. You have to see them (or listen to the live tape!) to truly understand them. To know Red Pony Clock is to love them.

Track Mastra (aka Tricera)My buddy Tomm is your buddy Tomm. Your buddy Tomm is Track Mastra. Track Mastra is Tricera. Got it? Tomm loves hip hop and it shows. Take some homemade beats, add a little bit of indie rock, add some tight lyrical rhythm and you've got a winning song. I don't think you're ready. Dude is on a whole 'nother level. Now if I can only figure out which name to call him?(back to top)

The awesomest brother/sister duo... ever? Rebecca writes the songs, Hoshwa adds onto them. It's only a matter of time until they have taken the entire world by storm. Comparing their musical styling and variety to Mirah would not be a huge stretch. They enlist an arsenal of ukuleles, harp, guitar, and various toy instruments. No matter what anyone else claims, I'm Watercolor Paintings biggest fan. (back to top)

Seattle's premiere folky pop band or poppy folk band or solo hip hop artist! Choose your own adventure, ya know? Depending on what song you listen to, you might want to laugh or you might want to cry or you might just want to go on a road trip. They'll make you want to get your long overdue dental work done and peel the backs off of very, very tiny stickers. But truthfully (all of this is the truth really) YHB can be a one-person mobile music looping unit or a giant, rag tag musical troupe of the northwest's finest. Clyde Peterson, y'all! (back to top)
